Now on the first day of the third season, the lower mount for the shock on the piston snapped clean off during my ride. Before the second season was over, it had developed the "you can't adjust me" issue. I had it rebuilt in 2014 before it's first season was over because the "brain" stopped functioning. My brain shock has been far from reliable and extremely costly to fix, so I want to replace it with a non-brain shock unit. I am originally from PA so I ride all mountain (hills and rocks), and live in Indianapolis now, where the hills are non-existent (sans Brown County). I ride a 2013 Epic Comp that's been my main bike since I purchased it in 2014. I've been lurking here for ages and finally signed up today.
