The Accidental Hero is one of the children/teen fiction works that I ‘accidentally’ bought in an English-book store. They are only few examples from hundreds of worldwide famous children/teen fiction novels. We can list teen fiction such as the Series of Unfortunate Events, Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, Christopher Paolini’s Eragon-Eldest-Inhabitant trilogy, The Hunger Games trilogy, I am Number Four, or minor but no less popular works such as Deltora series, The Nightmare Academy, The Book of Umber series, and Fablehaven series. The world of fiction, including especially children/teen fiction, seems to never lack of ideas and new works, whether before or after the ‘explosion’ of Harry Potter. Rowling was the person who creatively mixed these elements into a well-know work. The story in Harry Potter was previously known by readers through other fiction stories or by their traditional myth, J.K. As the result, it is no wonder that Harry Potter becomes my consideration in comparing some of newest published fictions, though Harry Potter was not a kind of novel with the most original stories. However, we have to admit that Harry Potter, the most popular reading in the modern time was known as the pioneer of children/teen/adolescent fiction reading materials. For example we can mention The Lord of the Rings Trilogy and Narnia name of a few. The biggest attention obviously falls to Harry Potter and its series, even though there were many selections before Harry Potter was released. Nowadays, there are many choices and options for teen literatures or novels which are prepared to be enjoyed by teenagers or adolescents. Genre : Children Fiction, Adventure, Teen-Action, Sci-Fi.
